DescriptionVessel, compound shape, the lower portion is left plain, the upper portion modeled as an owl effigy with an upturned beak, hemispherical eyes and large ovoid wings. Additional details are executed with incised lines (with tear-drop shaped ends) and zoned-punctated areas. The ceramic fabric appears to be sand-tempered and ranges in color from black to rosey pink.On View
