DescriptionBaby carrier consisting of rawhide pouch with hood mounted on a four-piece, wooden slat frame. Exterior of hide is solidly covered with parallel stitched beadwork including large stepped triangles and diamonds in green, yellow, red, navy and blue against a white field. Edges bordered with band of green with intermittent sections of navy and pink stripes. Upper part of slat frame consists of two pointed extensions ornamented with brass tacks.
