DescriptionHalf length portrait of a woman facing foward, wearing a gold and grey spangled turban with a string of pearls on either side. Her turban, dress and cloak have gold threads running through them. The cloak is trimmed with ermine. The dress is tied with a blue sash. Her dark hair is braided with a blue ribbon which matches the sash. She stands in front of a russet drapery with sky and clouds visible at right.
