DescriptionSeries consists of five scrapbooks compiled to document the activities at the St. John's Arts and Culture Centre (1967-73), the Royal Visit by Queen Elizabeth II (1978); the Royal Visit by Prince Charles and Princess Diana (1983); the Humphrey Gilbert Celebrations (1983), the Royal Visit by Prince Edward (1988) and the official visit by Jeanne Sauve, governor-general (1988). Family items include mining share certificates (1925, 1928-29) issued to Isaac and Albert Perlin, diverse programmes, brochures, certificates, membership cards and selected periodical articles, all of which are described at the item level. The series also includes some correspondence between artist A. E. Harris and A. George White.On View
